Developed in New York in the 1940s, the Abstract Expressionism movement in painting was defined by such celebrated artists as Jackson Pollock (right canvas) and Mark Rothko (left canvas). Pollock’s unique style of “drip painting” represented, for many, the apex of Pollock’s storied career. His drip works continue to command attention both at auction and in the world’s most prominent modern art collections.
Like Pollock’s drip paintings themselves, our Pollock designer throw pillow suggests motion, depth, and spontaneity.
Today, the influence of the Abstract Expressionists can be seen in all areas of design, including interior design. Our Pollock pillow is the perfect accessory for any modern decor, fitting well into a variety of interior environments.
