What are COM pillows?

COM stands for “customer’s own material.” In the world of interior design, it refers to pillows that are made using fabric specified by the designer for a specific client, as opposed to “off-the-shelf” solutions, where pillows are made for no one in particular. COM programs make it possible for interior designers to create pillows that complement their designs and satisfy their clients’ desires.

What are some advantages of using COM pillows?

There are several reasons why interior designers use COM (customer’s own material) pillows:

• Design Coordination

COM pillows allow interior designers to match the pillows exactly to the color and texture scheme of an interior environment, making the overall design more cohesive and finished.

• Personalization

Using COM pillows allows designers to incorporate sentimental or meaningful textiles, colors, and motifs into a design. For commercial applications, COM pillows can be used to incorporate brand colors and symbolic references into the design of a commercial space.

• Cost Effectiveness

Using COM throw pillows can save money over non-customized designer brands. COM can also be a good way to recycle fabrics.

• Flexibility

COM pillows allow designers to work with a wide variety of fabrics and textures, which can add visual interest and depth to a design.

• Quality Control

When you use COM pillows, you have more control over the quality of the fabric, and you can ensure that it meets your standards.
